The Resource Program at ADR is comprised of students having autism, Asperger's Syndrome, Down Syndrome, and Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, among other Special Needs.  Educational Assistants (EAs) work with our students either one-on-one or in small group format depending on the abilities and needs of the students.  The goal for each of our students in the Resource Program is to be fully integrated into the regular education classrooms.  We also provide opportunities for the students to learn life skills by doing cooking and baking in our classroom kitchen, learning to fold laundry, wash and put away dishes, and going out into the community with the EA for food shopping for our school's Foods Program, social outings or job readiness tasks.  Our students get daily physical activity and we consult with outside agencies for additional support where necessary.

Let me know if you would like a tour of our rooms and see firsthand what our students do at ADR.

Thank you,

Mrs. Gibbs
